         Sub: Meeting Held at CCO, Ahmedabad in Relation to AGT-2016 on 15.02.2016: Reg.

          Please refer to the subject mentioned herein above.

        In this regard, it is to intimate that this Association has received the letter dated 08.02.2016 issued by the Co-ordinator of the Committee constituted for AGT-2016 & Deputy Commissioner, CCO, Ahmedabad today only i.e. 17.02.2016. Since, there was no prior intimation regarding the aforesaid Meeting, the views of this Association in relation to AGT-2016 could not be shared with the aforesaid Committee. Had this Association been intimated regarding the aforesaid Meeting in time even by electronic media like Fax, Phone or Mail, this Association would have participated in the esteemed discussion.

         Nevertheless, this Association submits that the provisions of the existing Transfer Policy-2015 are well defined and the same may be adhered to by the administration in their letter & spirit. Moreover, changes in Transfer Policies at frequent intervals cause creation of different sets of officers to be governed by different Transfer Policies and management of data in this regard, being a cumbersome process, results in sheer wastage of time & resources ultimately hampering the smooth functioning of the administration.

        It is, therefore, earnestly requested that adherence of the existing Transfer Policy may be given preference over creation of new Transfer Policy in the larger interest of all the concerned.

In this regard, it is to intimate that the National Body of AICEIA affiliated to the Confederation of Central Government Employees & Workers has, in support of the Confederation, given a Call to participate in protest by wearing Black Badges on duty on 27.11.2015.
