Dear Members,
It is to bring to your notice
that the Chief Commissioner, Central Excise, Ahmedabad, vide letter
F.No.II/03-05/CCO/2014 dated 04-06-2014 have invited the officer bearers of
this Association for a meeting on 10th June, 2014 in order to decide
whether to carry on the AGT-2014 before the Cadre Restructuring or to wait till
the implementation of the Cadre Restructuring.
In this connection, it is to
inform that this Association and it’s members are of the firm opinion that the
AGT-2014 has already been delayed and it should not be delayed further in
anticipation of Cadre Restructuring. Till date, the notification with regard to
allocation of posts and creation of new Comissionerates has not been issued and
it is likely to take some more time. We should not wait for implementation of
the CR in order to effect the AGT-2014.
Accordingly, this Association as
well as Supereintendent’s Association have already conveyed our feelings to the
Chief Commissioners. Again during the course of the meeting to be held on 10th
June, we shall reiterate our demand for immediate ordering of AGT-2014 orders
and the procedure of AGT-2014 may be completed by 20th June, 2014.
(D.J. Pandya)
Secretary
Dear sir,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the update and the firm stand shown in favour of early AGT-2014. It is requested that the administration should be given example of the Commissionerates of entire North India where AGT-2014 has been completed immediately after the completion of General Elections-2014, though the Cadre Restructuring is going to affect those Commissionerates as well. Administrative decisions should not be based upon future contingencies.
Regards,
R P Singh
Dear sir,
ReplyDeleteIt is a welcome step and appreciable step. The administration is delaying the AGT-2014 without any concrete reasons, so, the same should be opposed by the Association in clear terms.
Thanks,
Amit Kumar
Dear sir,
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot for the bold step taken for early AGT-2014. It is beyond imagination as to why the administration needs to consult the Associations at all, when the picture regarding CR is very much clear. The administration, it seems, is trying to delay the AGT-2014 on some or the other ground for fulfillment of its own vested interests. This kind of inaction is totally intolerable and if need be, this Association through its National Body should take up the matte with Member (P & V), CBEC for timely intervention into the matter.
Yours sincerely,
M S Gandive
Respected Secretary Sir,
ReplyDeleteThe view expressed by the association on AGT-2014 is praiseworthy. Routine administrative exercise should not be delayed for one or other reason.
Gopal Jha
Dear Sir,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your effort. It is quite surprising that why the administration is delaying the AGT-2014 in the name of CR. However in almost all Zones of northern India, AGT-2014 has already been initiated and even completed in some of these Zones.
Thanks Pandyaji for your efforts.
